Yes — all Dubai Metro stations and carriages are fully air-conditioned, making the Metro the most comfortable way to travel during Dubai's summer months when outdoor temperatures regularly exceed 40°C (104°F).

Are there separate carriages for women on the Dubai Metro?

Yes — the front carriage of every train is the designated Gold Class and Women and Children carriage. Women may use this or the standard mixed carriages; the Gold Class area requires a Gold Nol card or a surcharge.

Does the Dubai Metro serve the Burj Khalifa?

Yes — Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station on the Red Line is directly adjacent to the Dubai Mall and a short walk from the Burj Khalifa. The Red Line also serves Dubai International Airport, Palm Jumeirah (via Palm Monorail), and Dubai Marina.
