Public hospital emergency rooms (Urgencias) treat urgent cases. EU visitors use the EHIC/GHIC; non-EU tourists pay and claim via insurance. Dial 112 or 061 for an ambulance. Pharmacies (farmacia, green cross) advise on minor issues and some open 24 hours (farmacia de guardia).
