Thailand Tourist Police — 1155
The Tourist Police (hotline 1155, 24/7, English and other languages) specifically help foreign visitors with crime, scams, disputes and emergencies across Bangkok and Thailand.
Bangkok has excellent private hospitals with English-speaking staff (a hub for medical tourism), but tourists pay and care can be costly, so travel insurance is essential. Dial 1669 for an ambulance. Private hospitals are recommended over public ones for foreigners; pharmacies are plentiful for minor issues.
